Washington, D.C. — A new resource from the National Immigration Forum Action Fund provides voters with facts- and values-based guidance on immigration.
The new voter guide offers an in-depth comparison of the candidates on an issue that more than 60% of voters have said is “very important to their vote.”
“Using the candidates’ statements and governing policies, [the guide] examines each of their records on key immigration issues such as border security, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), and refugee resettlement,” the guide reads.
“Voters want candidates who talk about pragmatic border, asylum and legal-immigration solutions — not fear-based rhetoric,” said Jennie Murray, President and CEO of the National Immigration Forum Action Fund. “This guide will be a valuable tool for voters to educate themselves on the real distinctions between the candidates.”
