Windows 11 Pro 23H2 build 22631.3296 (Non-TPM) (x64) En-US March 2024 [FTUApp]

windows11. The main part of this announcement was supposed to be the introduction of a significant change in the user interface, codenamed Sun Valley. As we know, a significant part of the UX changes will be borrowed from the Windows 10X skin, and Windows 10X will not hit the market. Now, as expected, Windows 11 leaks begin.

What’s new in Windows 11:
– Windows 11 will have a completely new design. It is clear that Microsoft needs a good reason to withdraw its previous statements and still abandon Windows 10 by introducing a new operating system number. And the brand new design is perfect for this. The Redmond giant has long been preparing the design of an update codenamed Sun Valley (“Sun Valley”) – apparently, that was the name of Windows 11. The Sun Valley project has been flickering on the network for a long time – Microsoft regularly revealed details of the new interface style, insiders shared previously unknown information, and the most famous designers in their circle drew realistic concepts based on all this data.
– Startup and system items float above the bottom bar. Start is the business card and face of every latest version of Windows. It is not surprising that in the Windows 11 operating system, developers are transforming it again, but not so much functionally as visually: the Start window will hang above the bottom bar. We must admit that this small change makes the system much fresher. Judging by the information coming from the network, Microsoft will not radically change the “interior” of this menu: innovations will only affect the design of the window itself. The control panel will also be floating and will have the exact same design as Start. The Action Center will be combined with control buttons, similar to those used by other operating systems for a long time. Almost all mentions of this new menu indicate that it will be an island, with controls in a separate panel, notifications in another, and specific elements (such as the player) in another separate panel.
– Rectangles will disappear, replaced by fillets. In fact, insiders and concept artists are divided on this issue, with some believing that Microsoft will stick to its tradition and stick to right angles, while others believe that Microsoft will follow the slant trend in 2021. The latter is more in line with the definition of “all new Windows”: floating menus alone are not enough to qualify a new design as truly new. The slant is expected to affect almost everything in the system, from context menus and system panels to all application windows. True, even in this matter, the opinions of concept artists differ: some draw slants in all possible interface elements, others combine them at right angles.
– There will be a transparent background with a blur everywhere. The island style of windows, the design of corners and the levitation effect of menus are divided on the Internet, but almost everyone agrees on the transparency of windows. The vast majority of leaks and design renders show transparency and blur in all windows, at least in the Start menu or browser. Furthermore, these effects are also present when installing the canceled Windows 10X operating system, which Microsoft developed for devices with two screens and weak apps in parallel with the Sun Valley project.
